Hey do you all remember when we were at the conference this past winter and the guy from Spearfish stood up and talked about werewolves being seen in the northern hills.

I have never heard anything like that since. I was just wondering if anyone else had heard something along those lines.

I vaguely remember that guy. I have heard stories and did talk with a fella that had an experience with a strange creature on the upper end of Highway 44 just down from 385. He described it werewolf-like. That was back in the mid-90's. Nothing since until the conference.

I thought I remember reading a story last year in the RCJ where a guy said he saw what he thought was a bear in the forest but I don't recall his location. I think the paper interviewed the forest service who said it was unlikely a bear. They said it might have been a badger or deer or something like that. I just thought about it after you brought up the subject.

I guess another mystery, but I really don't think we have to worry about werewolves But, just in case...I have some silver tip bullets handy
