Peggy and I were visiting her parents over near Bonesteel during the 4th and they had invited over a lot of their friends. Now mind you, these are all farmer friends and so easy to say would usually not talk about the paranormal. What is funny is that during the course of the day it got out that one of our hobbies is paranormal research and soon we were explaining what we do and if we have ever seen a ghost. What was interesting is the fact that after the initial discussions and realizing that Peggy and I were not nuts, we started to hear about their experiences. In fact, Peggy and I had recieved permission from several that if we ever wanted to investigate their homes we would be more than welcome. We also learned that there are many farm homes that are no longer occupied that these farmers own and they told us we could go on their property to investigate anytime we wanted.
I realize that this is out of the area, but I thought it something we should consider at a later time as we conduct more investigations. Just a thought.

That would be so neat, going out and investigating old homesteads. My husbands family still has their own homestead in Whiteriver, and I would love to go out there sometime too. But I am 100% down for taking a road trip in the future when everyone is able.

One of my other hobbies is taking pictures of abandoned properties. I would love to see some of these places, haunted or not.

With some of the trageties and hardship of old homesteads from years ago, it has got to have some energy still connected with some of these places. I'd love to visit some abandoned homesteads someday...

That would be cool! Who know what we might find!
