Hey gang, good news! I was able to reformat my voice recorder. It took about 30mins (wow) but I did do a test run and it records as expected AND I can upload to audacity again. Yee haw!

Hey Mo its Dustin, what would cause you to have to re-format your voice recorder? Just wondering...

He'll get back to you later on Sunday. We're in Gillette reviewing evidence right now. But, I reformat after multiple uses to clean up the drive. Similar to reformatting a hard drive.

We're back and my RCA Digital Voice Recorder is officially dead. I actually worked for about 3 mins and then for the next 5 hours is nothing but a continuous loop of a few spoken words of our team. This is even after I reformatted. Like MarkR said something probably is corrupted within the mechanism itself. Thank goodness I have a backup. I am bummming though. I liked my recorder.
