Hey guys its me again. We have been researching night vision cameras and we are not sure what to get. We kinda want a camcorder that has both daytime and night vision capabilities. Any sugestions?????

I own a Sony Handycam HDR-SR10 40gb hard drive. It comes with night shot, but I would purchase a IR extender with it. I like this particular camera in that it has a 40 gig hard drive that I can download directly to my computer to view. You can also view it on a full screen TV, but it you want to edit it for a youtube video it is easy to do so straight to computer.
It has been a great camera so far and I have not had any problems with it. Just my .02 cents.

Sony's the way to go. I'd stay away from any of the older, Hi-8 models. Find one that uses Mini-DVD's, full size dvd's, or a hard drive. I agree with Mark S about the IR extender, it's a must have. If you get a camera and extender, test the difference, it's staggering!
